The Old Firm is coming up. What better way to get ready for the most crucial contest of the month then seeing what the other half thinks.

That’s right. The Celtic and Rangers rivalry is probably the most heated in all of sports. Sometimes, however, it’s nice to see what the other half thinks of the upcoming fixture.

The Celtic Bhoys has brought in an undisclosed Rangers fan to discuss his thoughts on what to look out for this Saturday. The interview went smooth; no swearing or fist fights occurred. Let’s get right to it!

Q: I have to admit, it feels weird sitting across a rival, yet alone conducting an interview. What are your overall thoughts on Celtic?

A: Sure

More from The Celtic Bhoys

Q: At the moment, Celtic sit at the top of the Scottish Premiership with 50 points which is good for 11 tallies past the Rangers. Can the Rangers bounce back and catch up to the Bhoys next year?

A: Sure

Q: The Hoops have received contributions from all over the pitch this season. It may not be consistent, but Brendan Rodgers has incorporated an early and heavy possession game. How can the Rangers defense make sure the possession numbers don’t get out of hand early on?

A: Sure

Q: There’s no secret that the Celts’ defense has struggled a bit this season. Even Kieran Tierney has had his moments in coverage, regardless of the fact that many believe he’s the best defender in Scotland. Alfredo Morelos and Josh Windass make up for a lot of the Rangers’ goals this season. Can they exploit the defense of Celtic?

A: Sure

Q: Celtic Park will play a big part in this fixture. Plus, Rodgers has yet to lose an Old Firm contest. Do you see the odds stacked up against the Rangers?

A: Sure

Q: You’re planning on saying something other than “sure”, correct?

A: Sure

Q: Well that’s pretty annoying. Celtic are going to dominate Rangers on Saturday. Am I right?

A: Sure

Q: Rangers are probably one of the worst clubs in Europe at the moment and shouldn’t even be allowed to face Celtic.

A: Sure

Well, there you have it folks. It was quite a lengthy interview that yielded the same results.

In all seriousness, the Old Firm should provide more classic moments that fans can reflect on over the next few years. The Celts have to play their early game and set the tone for the rest of the 90 minutes.

Rangers look like more of an offensive team. The rivals have scored 41 goals in the campaign which is good for second in the Premiership. But, they’ve also conceded 25 goals this season which is ten more than Celtic’s total.

If you’re not planning on watching the whole contest (which you should), at least pay attention to the opening ten minutes. Celtic can either make or break the derby depending on how many shots that can total on Wesley Foderingham in the opening half.

Paradise should be buzzing tomorrow. Let’s all hope for a great end of the year for the Bhoys.

Prediction: Celtic beat Rangers so badly that the club never plays another match of football again. Instead, the club transitions into cricket, where more problems occur. This forces the club to vanish out of existence which all started with a Celtic win.
