Jupp Heynckes has a selection headache for tonight’s game at Paradise. Bayern are without the unfit Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller as well as Kwasi Okyere Wriedt, who is not registered for the Champions League. Can Celtic take advantage come 7.45pmGMT?

Who will start up front for Bayern Munich tonight at Celtic Park? That’s the problem facing Mr Heynckes as his boys look to cement second place in our Group tonight. Wingers Kingsley Coman and Arjen Robben are available and young forward Manuel Wintzheimer is also in the squad.

More from The Celtic Bhoys

Will he go with just Robben up front or will he play a 4,4,2 and look to kill off any chance of Celtic getting anything out of tonight’s game? Or will he throw in the young Wintzheimer and keep Robben on the wing?

Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and France winger Franck Ribery are long-term absentees for the visitors but Spain defender Javi Martinez, who missed Celtic’s visit to the Allianz Arena, played on Saturday.

There was a bit of arrogance from the German legend and Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge who had earlier said of Lewandowski’s omission on the club’s website: “If we had played against Real Madrid, he might have gone.

Clearly the German’s fancy this so much tonight that it doesn’t really matter that their star striker isn’t coming. I think Brendan and his Bhoys should just pin that quote on the dressing room wall. Team talk done!!

Celtic will be looking for a better showing than the 3-0 game over in Germany. If Celtic can pull off a Man City esque performance from last year then who knows? With the likes of Brown and Dembele back in the side tonight a point might not be impossible.

The big question again for tonight’s side will be, who will partner Boyata in the Centre of defence? It looks likely it will be Bitton. Lustig will probably go back out to the right hand side tonight leaving the Israeli to fill in with Simunovic and Sviatchenko still out injured.

The rest of the team picks itself really and we’re taking Dembele to start instead of Griffiths. Can the Frenchman celebrate his call up to the full French national side with a goal or two? Apparently there’s 17 Scouts coming to watch Moussa and Kieran from the EPL tonight. Let’s hope they do themselves justice which I’m sure they will.

Next: Kieran Tierney signs new 6 year deal

We’re hoping for at least a point tonight. Anything can happen under the lights at Paradise on a European night. The day after the unbelievable news of KT’s new 6 year deal, can the Bhoys keep that smile on our face? COYBIG!!
