Tonight Celtic have the uphill task of facing the most expensive front line in World football today.
Kylian Mbappe (On Loan From Monaco, cough cough) and Neymar Jnr will cost a whopping £364m in total, if as expected, Mbappe signs after his Loan spell ends next Summer with PSG’s Loan to buy option.
Can they be stopped? Can Celtic get anything from this game?
Fitba as we know it has gone mad. The amount of money getting spent these days is absolutely ridiculous. Teams in China are spending crazy money and now the oil-rich chairmen around Europe and the Sky Sports franchises down South are following suit.
Julian Draxler, who only cost PSG a measly £35m from Wolfsburg thinks that the two “Grenades” up top will blow Celtic away tonight.
“We have signed Neymar, one of the best players in the world, and with Mbappe we have one of the greatest talents in the world,” said Draxler.
He has every right to feel confident, I mean both players really are in the top 10 talents in the world at the minute. Neymar especially has history with Celtic whilst with Barcelona and I’m sure Broony and Lustig will give him a great welcome on his return to Paradise.
That could especially be true for Broony, who along with Jozo Simunovic, signed new long-term deals with Celtic on the eve of this match.
It’s not all doom and gloom though and not just a foregone conclusion. If PSG think that Celtic will simply let them just waltz into Glasgow and take all three points then they’re very much mistaken my friends.

Brendan Rodgers will have the Bhoys more than fired up and once that Champions League anthem hits, some of those PSG players will not have heard noise like it before I’m sure. In fact, Rodgers has been very vocal about how he expects his team to attack this opening UCL match.
Rodgers fully expects the Hoops to come out and make the world take notice of the talent and pride of Celtic.
“We are clear that the world will look at the game and everyone will expect us to lose.
“But, for our players, our own cause is different.
“These are the games where you get the chance to write your story that can be heard worldwide,” Rodgers said, via The Daily Record.
Leigh Griffiths is set to return to the starting lineup along with Rogic so Celtic certainly have firepower of their own.
Sinclair and Roberts will be gracing the wings as per usual and Broony will be looking to dominate the game from the centre of the park. The one area that will concern Celtic fans is that other Centre Half berth. Who will partner Simunovic in there?
Bitton hasn’t looked great. To be fair to him, he’s a central midfielder who’s awareness as a centre half just isn’t there. Will Ajer start? Probably not..so what about moving Lustig into the central berth and bringing in young Anthony Ralston to cover the right back area?
Could Celtic even go with a three-man back line and allow some more midfield pace to be on display?
It’s all if’s and buts but one thing’s for sure. PSG will know by 10pm on Tuesday night that they’ve been in a game.

Will they go back to France with all three points? I think they’re in for a shock if they think this’ll be an easy nights work.
