Celtic could find themselves in need of a winger in the summer. Nicolas Kuhn, despite his shaky form in recent months, has been one of their best overall performers this season. And the expectation is that there will be an interest in signing the German winger in the next transfer window. Of course, if he were to leave, the Hoops would need to bring in a replacement.
Yang Hyun-jun has impressed since the turn of the year. But, it might be a bit too early to consider him to be a future starter for Celtic. He needs to show a bit more consistency before that.
There is one Celtic player, currently out on loan, who has been impressive in recent months. That player is none other than Australian international Marco Tilio.
Tilio is back on loan in Australia with Melbourne City FC. An injury earlier in the season had derailed his campaign for a while but now he is back and in fine form. In the last seven appearances, he has scored three goals and provided a couple of assists as well.
Winger sparks Celtic return talk with brilliant form
There were many who had already written off Tilio's chances of ever making it at Celtic Park. But now, it looks like he could potentially still have a future in Glasgow. Let's see how things play out from here.
Tilio is a talent for sure. But we have never gotten to see the best of him in a Celtic jersey due to a combination of fitness issues, a lack of form and chances.
Of course, it might be a bit too early to make any big claims about Tilio's future as well. He is finding his feet in Australia once again and we can only wish him the best for the rest of the season.
