Wilfried Nancy has endured a nightmare start to his life as the manager of Celtic Football Club. Unfortunately, it does not look like things are about to get any easier for the Frenchman. Next up for the Hoops is an away trip to take on Dundee United. Having seen the new boss lose twice at home and then at Hampden Park at the weekend, it is safe to say that the supporters are not filled with confidence going into this matchup.

There is further bad news for Nancy. Celtic's fitness woes look set to continue and they will remain without a consistent goalscorer for the time being.

Kelechi Iheanacho had just returned from a long-term injury but has now picked up another issue. It is unclear how long he will be out for this time around but a spell on the sidelines is confirmed.

Iheanacho is not going to be available for the upcoming matchup against Dundee United. As reported by The Herald, Nancy said:

"Ralston is okay. But Kelechi is going to be out. It's hamstring, but I don't know yet for how long."

Nancy is struggling at the moment. He could certainly do with someone like Iheanacho. The Nigerian has a bit of experience and knows his way to the back of the net, as he had shown before his earlier injury.

The decision to bring in Iheanacho was nothing but a desperate move on the part of Celtic though. They had missed out on signing Kasper Dolberg despite sanctioning the exit of Adam late in the summer. As a result, they had little other choice but to sign the former Manchester City man, who was available as a free agent following the close of the transfer window.

To be fair, Iheanacho has had his moments in a Celtic shirt. But considering his injury problems, the club simply cannot rely on him. Let's hope that they sign another proven striker in the winter transfer window.
