This painfully long international break continues to rumble on, and we are now entering the final weekend of international action. Nations have another set of fixtures during the week, but UEFA teams wrap up on Tuesday night, while South and North American teams wrap up on Wednesday at the latest.
Attention will then turn back to club action next weekend, and at long last, with this newly extended international break lasting three weeks in all.
With more action on the docket this weekend for Celtic stars, we have put together a guide on who to look out for this weekend.
Benjamin Nygren
First up is Benjamin Nygren, who is action on Friday night as Sweden take on Bosnia and Herezgovina at home. Graham Potter's men, who are in League B in the Nations League, have won both games so far and have the opportunity to strengthen their grip on top spot.
Nygren started and scored last time out, and he will be hoping to keep his place for the Bosnia and Herezegovina clash, which may happen due to injuries.
Yang Hyun-jun
Saturday sees South Korea under-23s take on hosts Japan in the Asian Games football final. South Korea are bidding to make it four straight Asian Games titles, and Yang is hoping to play a part, having struggled with a hamstring injury.
Yang was kept on the bench after returning from injury, and he will only start if he is deemed fully fit, as his manager has confirmed. Should South Korea win the title, their squad will be eligible to skip the nation's mandatory military service.
South Korea and Japan were the two favourites to win the competition, so it's logical that both have made the final. In case you are not aware, this is an under-23s competition with the exception of three overage wildcard picks, which is why Yang is present.
Viljami Sinisalo
Sinisalo could be on action on Saturday, with Finland in action against Albania in League C. Whether Sinisalo starts is another question, given he is usually the second choice for his nation, but he is available for the game.
Finland are currently second in their group, two points behind Albania, who they will have the chance to leapfrog with a home win.
Auston Trusty
On Saturday night, or Sunday morning UK time, USMNT takes on Mexico in an international friendly. Trusty came off the bench and provided an assist last time out, so he will be hoping to break into the starting lineup here.
Mika Baur
Germany return to action on Sunday, facing Greece away from home in an important game, and Mika Baur will be available to potentially make his second senior appearance. He was given his debut by Jurgen Klopp on Thursday night.
Germany are currently three points behind Greece after losing to them in their opener, so they will likely need to win this game to stand any chance of winning the group and progressing to the finals.
Kasper Hogh
Hogh is back in action with Denmark on Sunday night, taking on Wales. Hogh has come off the bench in Denmark's games during this window so far, and it will be interesting to see if he gets a start in Cardiff.
Denmark beat Wales at home, but they have since lost to Portugal, while Wales beat Norway. Portugal have that group all-but sewn up, on nine points, while all three of the remaining teams have three points.
Liam Scales
Scales is back in action for Ireland on Sunday, taking on Israel in, you guessed it, Serbia. Yep, that game is being played in a pretty random location and behind closed doors due to security concerns.
Ireland are currently three points behind Austria, who they blew a two-goal lead against on Thursday. Ireland made easy work of Israel in the return fixture.
