Ange Postecoglou knows what it takes to win trophies. Celtic fans will know that very well. The Australian manager won five during his two years at Parkhead. And considering the circumstances in which he arrived, that is an impressive tally and he deserves all the credit in the world for the job he did. That is why he remains beloved among the Parkhead supporters.
The same cannot be said about his current team's support. It looks like most of them are ready to say goodbye to Postecoglou at the end of this season.
Tottenham Hotspur are currently 15th in the Premier League. There is still hope that they could win silverware though, something they have not done since 2008. Postecoglou has successfully guided them into the semi-finals of the Europa League.
Tottenham Hotspur fans were not happy with a comment that Postecoglou made recently though. While speaking to Football on TNT Sports, he said:
"A club like this hasn't been in many semi-finals. So, the opportunity to get one, the opportunity we have tonight, we want to take."

Tottenham Hotspur fans angry with Celtic hero Ange Postecoglou's comment
It looks like that sentiment has not gone down well with a lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans. One of them wrote: "Whatever happens. He’s got to go... If we go out tonight. This will have to go down as our worst season since relegation in the 70’s…"
Another one wrote: "He’s been pushing the narrative hard in recent interviews.. like we should be grateful for him getting us this far.."
Tottenham Hotspur might have one of the best stadiums in world football, and they are considered part of the traditional 'Big Six', but when it comes to European football, they have not done much of note. They did make it to the Champions League final back in 2019 but other than that, it is hard to remember the last time they made any sort of impact on the continental level.
So, Postecoglou has certainly done an excellent job taking them into the semi-finals of the Europa League. There they will be taking on Bodo/Glimt.
Of course, Postecoglou knows all about Bodo/Glimt. Celtic faced the Norwegian club in the Conference League during the Australian manager's debut season in Glasgow. The Hoops lost both legs and 5-1 on aggregate. So, he will be hoping for a lot more success than that this time around.
