Celtic got the job done, albeit by the slimmest of margins. Kelechi Iheanacho kept his cool to slot home a late penalty and seal all three points for the Hoops, who are now nine points ahead of the Rangers in mid-September. But that does not mean that the Scottish champions do not have their fair share of problems to take care of.

One of them is the football that Brendan Rodgers' side are playing right now. It is unimpressive and uninspiring. But there was a bright spot in the game against Kilmarnock, and Celtic fans will be hoping that there is a lot more to come.

The player we are talking about is none other than Sebastian Tounekti. Signed on deadline day, his arrival was overshadowed by the failure to bring in Kasper Dolberg, and not really celebrated.

Celtic might have a player on their hands though. And it would be safe to say that a lot of fans were impressed with what the Tunisian international brought to the table on his debut for the Hoops.

It is worth pointing out that these were not easy conditions or circumstances to make your debut in, as one Celtic fan pointed out. He wrote: "Tounekti’s been absolutely top class here btw, in what’s arguably the worst conditions in the league."

Another Celtic fan wrote: "Not to get ahead of myself, but Sebastian Tounekti is the greatest winger of all time."

Then there are some already predicting that it is only a matter of time before clubs come calling: "Tounekti is the reason kids get inspired to go out and kick a ball. He won’t be here for long."

Well, it is nice to see some positivity around Celtic after a tough few weeks. It will surely be welcomed by the players as well.

As for Tounekti, this is just one performance and we should not get too far ahead of ourselves. The challenge for him will be improving his output. But if he can do that, he might have a great time at Celtic with a starting spot up for grabs right now.

Unfortunately, Michel-Ange Balikwisha has not been nearly as impressive. Hopefully, he can take a leaf out of Tounekti's book.
