The summer transfer window is now really kicking into gear, and it's hoped Celtic will finally join the party over the next week or so as they continue to search for their first addition. Martin O'Neill has been clear that he wants plenty of new signings this summer, and so far his calls have gone unanswered.

Meanwhile, every other Scottish Premiership side has completed at least one new signing, and we will only see business pick up from here. Here we round up all the latest transfer news and rumours from around the top flight.

Celtic expected to return with fresh bid

Celtic are expected to return with a fresh bid for Qarabag striker Camilo Duran. The Bhoys are said to have tried their luck with a lower bid, believed to be in the region of £2.5million, this week, but it was rejected.

Qarabag are looking to maximise their profit on the striker, who scored five Champions League goals last season, and according to Sky Sports, Celtic remain hopeful of striking a deal, with negotiations ongoing.

Rangers eye Just deal

Rangers are now said to be battling Celtic for the signing of Motherwell star Elijah Just. According to Football Insider, there is an 'open race' for the winger's signature at this stage.

It's claimed a deal can be done for around £5million due to the attacker having only a year remaining on his current deal, and Rangers are currently pressing ahead as they look to add a new winger this summer. Celtic will need to respond, although they seem to be prioritising other deals at this stage of the summer.

Motherwell snap up defender

Speaking of Motherwell, they have managed to snap up Austrian centre-half Martin Moormann following the relegation of Blau-Weiß Linz from the Austrian Bundesliga, which lead to his departure.

New Motherwell boss Alfred Johansson said: "His fast, physical presence allows him to dominate in the area and help prevent the opposition from creating chances.

"But he is also technically talented on the ball and is comfortable playing out in difficult situations. Martin fits the profile for the left-footed centre-back we need. He may be 25, but he has a lot of experience that will become useful for the team."

The centre-back has signed a two-year deal and joins after a frustrating season that saw Linz follow bottom of the league after a first-ever top-half finish in the season before. He now links up with Motherwell for pre-season.
