The summer transfer window is well underway, with deals taking place across the country, even if the focus of many remains on the World Cup. We are now nearing the Round of 16 stage of the World Cup, with the business end of the competition about to kick off.

Meanwhile, back at home, Scottish Premiership clubs are working on incoming and outgoing deals, albeit Celtic are yet to get off the mark with their summer business.

That is not the case for most clubs, though, and as business begins to speed up, we have rounded up the transfer latest surrounding Celtic and their top-flight rivals.

Celtic to miss out on Graham

Celtic are said to have been interested in Dundee star Luke Graham this summer, but the lure of the South appears to be too strong.

According to the Daily Record, Graham was the subject of offers from Stoke City and Portsmouth back in January, but £1.5million bids were knocked back. Celtic were linked with a move for the 22-year-old defender, but the Scottish Sun now say Stoke and Portsmouth have returned to the table with fresh bids, meaning a move to one of those clubs is expected in the near future.

Rangers told huge price tag

Rangers are said to be interested in signing Scotland international Lewis Ferguson this summer. The midfielder played a big part for Bologna last season, making 45 appearances across all competitions, but he could now be for sale.

Calciomercato report that Bologna could cash in on Ferguson this summer, but they are said to want as much as 20million euros. Rangers are said to have explored a possible deal for Ferguson, attempting to find out the conditions of the deal, but that asking price may leave them having to go elsewhere this summer.

Hearts snap up Daly

Hearts have made a strong start to this window, and their latest signing sees them snap up Cormac Daly, a former Nottingham Forest under-21s player.

The 19-year-old winger reached the end of his contract at Forest and now links up with Hearts with the hope of fighting for a firs-team spot. He told the Hearts website: “I’m absolutely buzzing. I got a phone call from Hearts, and I talked to some of the people at the club about what they're trying to do here, and they have a good plan.

“It's something that I really wanted to be part of, and it really excited me. I know James Wilson, Gus Stevenson and Matt Gillies, I've known them for a number of years, so it'll be good to meet up with them again.

“As a player I'd say I’m direct, quick, just a bit of flair, just a really attacking winger really. I enjoyed my time at Nottingham Forest. It was three years of my life that went by fast but being there, away from home, helped me to develop both on and off the pitch."
