It would be safe to say that Celtic fans are not happy with how things have been run at Parkhead in recent times. And there are certainly a lot of areas in need of improvement. That being said, if you take a look at how it has turned out for the Rangers this season, it feels like the Hoops might indeed be doing a 'world class' job, like they seem to believe.

Despite spending a significant amount in the summer, it looks like the Rangers have somehow managed to get worse. They have one win from their first seven league games, and sacked Russell Martin after just 123 days in charge at Ibrox.

Despite having the entire international break, they have not been able to sort out their managerial situation in time though. Steven Gerrard turned them down first and yesterday, it emerged that Danny Rohl had done the same.

Kevin Muscat seems to be the favourite for now, but you never know with this situation. It would not come as a surprise if he turns it down as well. On the other hand, the Rangers have officially confirmed that Steven Smith, Brian Gilmour, Rhys Owen and Sal Bibbo will lead the team for their upcoming Scottish Premiership match with Dundee United.

'Rejected again' - Celtic fans react to Rangers official announcement

It is safe to say that the Rangers would have liked to clear the situation up by now, but have failed to do so. As one Celtic fan wrote, accompanied by laughing and pointed finger emojis: "Rejected again."

On the other hand, the Rangers fans seem to be unhappy with the situation as well, as you would expect them to be. One wrote: "A full international break to sort out a manager and we’re needing to throw Stevie Smith in at the deep end."

It remains to be seen who the Rangers eventually end up bringing in. On the other hand, Celtic will be hoping to put in a good performance and win at the weekend as well. They certainly need some momentum themselves.
