Celtic were nowhere near their best against the Rangers at Ibrox but they were able to end their losing streak in the Glasgow Derby, owing to a 1-1 draw. They had fallen a goal behind once again but this time around, the Hoops managed to find an equaliser through Adam Idah and then held on to a point. Of course, there is room to improve further but for now, this has to be viewed as a decent result.

Now, the focus will turn towards winning the remaining games in the league. Then, there is the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen at Hampden Park, where they will have the chance to complete another domestic treble.

One of the biggest problems that Celtic are facing right now is their injury problems. They were without both their starting wingers against the Rangers.

Jota has already been ruled out for the next six to nine months. On the other hand, Nicolas Kuhn was dropped from the matchday squad as well, something that will worry the fans, with only a few games remaining in this campaign.

Brendan Rodgers has now given some insight into the decision to drop Kuhn from the Celtic squad against the Rangers. As reported by 67 Hail Hail, the manager said to Sky Sports:

"Well, he hadn’t trained all week and he done some work with the medical team.

“Yeah, he’s just got a real soreness in his knee. He got the clash last week against Dundee United.

“We tried to give him every chance but hopefully he’ll be ready for the next game."

Of course, Kuhn missing the Glasgow Derby was a blow. But at the same time, the positive is that he does not seem to be dealing with a long-term issue and could be fit in time for the next game. Hopefully, that turns out to be the case.

Let's see what the future holds. Celtic did just enough to avoid defeat in the derby and now, they just need to finish the season well and hopefully with a treble.
