Rangers goalkeeper Ivor Pandur has been praising Celtic after beating them twice with the Gers over the last couple of weeks.
Derek McInnes' men may not have the upper-hand in the Premiership as things stand, with Celtic still two points clear, but they do have the mental edge after dumping the Bhoys out of the Premier Sports Cup and then beating them in the league.
It's game on as far as the title race is concerned, with Rangers now having their tails up and Celtic feeling worried by their recent performances, knowing they simply must find ways to improve.
But Rangers keeper Pandur, who joined from Hull City in the summer, believes the Hoops still have plenty to be positive about, paying them a couple of compliments. He said, as cited by Rangers Review: "We play Celtic four or five times, it could be six, depending on the other cup.
"So a lot will depend on those matches, but I also think every game matters. They are great, they really have a great team and a recognisable style of play.
"They have had the spine of their team for years and add really good players to that. It won't be easy, but I believe that we will be the ones who will win trophies in the end.
"Of course, we have to believe that, but that's why we are all here. We all knew from the moment we signed for Rangers that we were aiming for every trophy.
"Everyone told me when I signed, I would have 20 easy games a season and that I wouldn't have anything to do for a lot of them. And since I came here, it's been the opposite!"
It is interesting to see a rival player assess that Celtic do have a clear style when the current concerns surrounding the Bhoys involve them lacking one, as recently pointed out by Cameron Carter-Vickers, who attracted plenty of criticism for pointing it out.
But Pandur is not necessarily wrong in his assessment, and he is not wrong in what he says about the title race. As much as it feels like a situation of panic at Celtic currently, the bottom line is that they remain top of the league, two points clear, and having shown better form than Rangers in the rest of their games outside the Old Firm.
No Celtic fan wants it to be the case, but technically speaking, if Celtic are considerably more consistent than Rangers overall this season, they can likely afford to blow all of the Old Firm games and still win the title.
