Venezia want offers over €6 million for Celtic target
Celtic might need to make an addition in the middle of the park this summer. Matt O'Riley has been constantly linked with a move away from Parkhead while there has been some speculation around the future of Reo Hatate as well. On the other hand, it is believed that they will sign Paulo Bernardo on a permanent basis although no official announcement has been made yet.
There are other positions strengthening which might be a bigger priority for Celtic this summer. But that does not mean that they do not have midfielders on the radar.
One of the players they have been linked with recently is Tanner Tessmann. He currently plays for Italian side, Venezia, and has also appeared a couple of times for the United States national team.
Tessmann is believed to be on the radar of clubs like Inter Milan, Fiorentina and a few others too. And as reported by the Daily Record, Venezia are said to be seeking offers of over €6 million.

It remains to be seen if Celtic end up making a move for Tessmann or not. Considering the level of clubs interested in the American international's signature, he is certainly a highly-rated talent.
These are the profile of players that Celtic need to be looking for if they want to show improvement, both domestically and in Europe. And to be honest, a €6 million transfer fee is not out of the Hoops' reach if they were intent on signing Tessmann.
That being said, we have seen the club being linked with a long list of players in recent times, with the majority of those rumours leading absolutely nowhere. So, it is unclear whether there is any substance to the rumours linking Celtic with Tessmann or not.
