Celtic are yet to complete their first signing of the summer but plenty of moves look close to completion. Kasper Schmeichel looks set to join as a free agent to replace Joe Hart. On the other hand, there have been reports that the Hoops have already agreed transfer fees with Aston Villa and Benfica for Viljami Sinisalo and Paulo Bernardo, respectively.

On the other hand, there have been quite a few exits as well. Sead Haksabanovic, Rocco Vata and Oh Hyeon-gyu have left on a permanent basis. On the other hand, Marco Tilio has returned to Melbourne City FC on loan.

None of them were regular starters for Celtic though. So, there exits would not have a major impact on Brendan Rodgers' plans.

The same cannot be said about Matt O'Riley. He was Celtic's best player last season, by some distance. And that has seen him being linked with some of the best clubs in Europe. The competition for his signature only seems to be growing as well.

There seems to be plenty of interest in the Danish midfielder from the Serie A. Atalanta are already believed to have made a failed offer. And as reported by Sky Sports, Celtic have received an approach from Juventus for O'Riley.

Celtic turned down an offer from Atletico Madrid in the winter as well. But considering the level of teams interested in signing O'Riley, it would be a bit of a miracle if he does not end up leaving this summer.

The interest is good news for Celtic as well though as it will only raise O'Riley's transfer fee further. It is believed that the Hoops are looking for a Scottish record figure, potentially north of £30 million, to consider parting ways with the Denmark international.
