After a long-drawn transfer saga, it looks like Celtic are on the verge of signing Adam Idah from Norwich City on a permanent basis. They have shown a lot of ambition as well. Rumours suggest that the Hoops have agreed a £8.5 million plus £1 million transfer package for the Irish striker. Today, that is not viewed as a big fee, but it would still be the club record.

The current one is the £9 million fee they shelled out to sign Odsonee Edouard from PSG. Hopefully, Idah goes on to achieve as much success as the Frenchman did as a Celtic player.

Idah is not the only Norwich City player that Celtic appear to have in their sights either. It looks like they are interested in one of their wingers as well.

It is a player who showed a lot of promise last season while away on loan, albeit at the English League One level. As tweeted by Pete O'Rourke, Celtic are the latest club to be monitoring Norwich winger Abu Kamara.

Kamara spent the previous season on loan at Portsmouth and did well for the club to say the least. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in 52 appearances in the 23/24 campaign.

Kamara's numbers at the youth level for Norwich City were exceptional as well. So, it is not hard to see why Celtic are interested in signing him. He is the exact profile of player the Hoops have targeted for a few years now.

Kamara played mostly on the right flank for Portsmouth last season, although he is very capable of playing on the opposite side of the pitch as well. With Nicolas Kuhn in top form, the Norwich City winger's addition this summer could make that one of Celtic's strongest positions.
