Celtic's unstoppable starting XI if they sign Kieran Tierney
By Kian Long
RW - Daizen Maeda. He could easily interchange with the opposite wing position, if necessary. That being said, we do believe that Brendan Rodgers could get the most quality in the team if Maeda plays on the right flank, a position he is no stranger to. His tireless work rate is important to how Celtic perform.
CF - Kyogo Furuhashi. Remains to be seen what happens with Adam Idah but either way, it would take a lot to remove Kyogo from the Celtic starting XI. Whether from the bench or as a starter, he is capable of having a big impact. And while he is not the unstoppable goalscoring machine that he was under the management of Ange Postecoglou, he is still the club's top scorer for the season with 16 goals in all competitions.
LW - Luis Palma. Palma has been in and out of the starting lineup for Celtic but he will hope to stake a bigger claim on the team next season with a year of experience in Scotland behind him. As a player, he could operate directly ahead of Kieran Tierney and will need to allow for the overlap and increase his work rate to cover in defence when necessary. This is a task he is capable of carrying out, mind.
