Celtic target submits transfer request to Premier League club
It has been an interesting transfer window for Celtic fans. On one hand, the club have made some great moves and deserve credit for that. Adam Idah and Paulo Bernardo have been signed permanently after positive loan spells. Kasper Schmeichel's addition might not have filled everyone with confidence but he has looked like the real deal so far. Viljami Sinisalo could prove to be a decent signing for the future as well.
At the same time though, one has to wonder whether the squad has been significantly strengthened when compared to last season. The only real change to the starting XI is Schmeichel taking the place of Joe Hart in goal.
That cannot be the case if Celtic want to show progress domestically and especially in Europe. So, let's hope more additions are made before the transfer window shuts soon.
One of the players they have been linked with recently is Hannibal Mejbri. And his Manchester United exit is starting to feel inevitable at this point.

As reported by Buzz News Tunisia, English press sources confirmed that Mejbri has requested to leave Manchester United this summer. The club want a transfer fee around €8 million to €9 million.
That would be a steep transfer fee to shell out for someone who is completely unproven at the top level. He has only made about a dozen appearances for Manchester United. Mehjbri's time at Sevilla on loan was not anything to write home about either.
A loan deal with a buyout option would make a lot more sense for Celtic if Manchester United want that kind of a transfer fee. Otherwise, it would be a major risk for the Hoops and there might be better options out there in that bracket for sure.
