Celtic can sign former FC Barcelona ace for free
Celtic need to bring in reinforcements up top. Adam Idah departed the club at the end of last season with his loan deal coming to an end and as things stand, it looks like the Irishman is in the new Norwich City manager's plans for the upcoming campaign. On the other hand, two forwards have left on a permanent basis with Oh Hyeon-gyu joining Genk and Rocco Vata moving to Watford.
That means that Kyogo is the only recognised striker Celtic have right now. Daizen Maeda can play up front but has barely done so since moving to Glasgow, featuring much more regularly on the wing.
So, Celtic might need to sign not one but two forwards this summer. And it looks like a pretty interesting option could be available as a free agent.
Remember when Munir El Haddadi was supposed to be the next big thing in football? Well, the now 28-year-old finds himself as a free agent this summer with his contract with Las Palmas coming to an end. And he might be an option worth considering for Celtic.

Of course, things have not turned out as expected for Munir. But that does not mean that he has nothing to offer in the right setup.
Munir has shown promise while playing for clubs like Barcelona, Valencia, Alaves and Sevilla. He has played more than 10 games at the international level for Morocco.
Signing someone like Munir as a free agent would not be a bad idea for Celtic. In fact, it might be an environment in which he thrives. The Hoops play the majority of the game on the front foot, which could make the most of his abilities. And at 28 years of age, he should be just entering his prime.
