Celtic have already seen three of their players leave on a permanent basis this summer. Sead Haksabanovic was the first to depart, joining Malmo. Rocco Vata left next, bringing an end to the long-running saga and making the move to Watford. Oh Hyeon-gyu followed them out the exit door and now finds himself at Genk.

A fourth name looks set to be added to that list soon. It is that of Swiss goalkeeper, Benjamin Siegrist, who is closing in on a Parkhead exit and a full agreement seems to be in place already.

As reported by Football Insider, Siegrist will undergo a Rapid Bucharest medical Monday after agreeing terms. He has reached a full agreement to join Neil Lennon's side on a permanent deal. Celtic have granted the goalkeeper permission to jet out and finalise the deal in the next days.

Siegrist has barely featured over the past two years, since joining Celtic. So, it is not hard to see why he is on his way out of the club.

Of course, Celtic have already signed a couple of goalkeepers this summer. Kasper Schmeichel has been brought in to take Joe Hart's place between the posts after the Englishman retired at the end of last season. His mix of experience and leadership qualities will be vital to Rodgers' side.

On the other hand, Viljami Sinisalo has been signed from Aston Villa for a transfer fee believed to be around £1 million. He has been brought in with a long-term view in mind and not to be the number one from the get-go. Working a season with someone like Schmeichel should help him grow as a goalkeeper.

All things considered, Siegrist leaving will not be a major problem for Celtic. In fact his departure might be the best step for all parties involved.
