Celtic need to find a replacement for Joe Hart this summer. The Englishman arrived at Parkhead in 2021 and it would be safe to say that most fans were underwhelmed by the decision to sign him. He did prove the critics wrong, spending the next three seasons as the Hoops' first-choice between the posts and winning seven trophies during his time in Glasgow.

Hart retired at the end of last season though, vacating the first-team gloves at Celtic. Now, it is up to the club to find a proper replacement for him.

A number of goalkeepers have been linked with Celtic in recent times. But as reported by Football Scotland, it's believed Sparta Prague's Peter Vindahl Jensen is the preferred one.

It is not too long ago that the 26-year-old Danish goalkeeper joined Sparta Prague on a permanent basis. Could he be on the move once again this summer? Let's see how things play out.

Celtic need to keep a lot of things in mind when it comes to finding a replacement for Hart. It was not just the Englishman's ability on the pitch that was important for Celtic. It was his experience and leadership abilities as well. In many ways, that will be even harder to replace, even not impossible.

Celtic have been linked with a long list of goalkeepers in recent times. Now, it remains to be seen who they ultimately are successful in signing.

The club have been busy at the start of the summer transfer window but with exits instead of arrivals. Sead Haksabanovic and Rocco Vata have left on a permanent basis while Marco Tilio returned to Melbourne City FC on loan.

On the other hand, Celtic have already played their first pre-season game of the campaign. It ended in a 1-1 draw against Ayr United.
