Celtic hero Moussa Dembele takes cheeky dig at Rangers
Another Derby day, another win for the Bhoys in green-and-white. Goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo and Callum McGregor secured victory and three points for Celtic in front of their home crowd. The result was not exactly unexpected when you consider how things have gone when the two teams have met in recent years.
As for the Rangers, the result leaves them five points behind Celtic in the league title race after just four games. They also failed to qualify for the Champions League.
It would an understatement to say that a section of their fanbase has already given up on their chances of success this season. And while it might be too early to come to any such conclusions, they certainly have a mountain to climb against a Celtic side that looks miles ahead of them at the moment.
Moussa Dembele is someone who knows a thing or two about scoring in the Glasgow Derby. In fact, he has produced some of the most iconic moments in the fixture's recent history. And he took a cheeky dig at the Rangers after the most recent edition. He tweeted out:

It is always good to see former players continuing to support Celtic even after leaving. And Dembele is just 28 years of age. Maybe we will get to see him playing in the green-and-white again someday.
It is safe to say that Celtic have been the much better team when it comes to Glasgow derbies since Ange Postecoglou was appointed manager of the Hoops in the summer of 2021. Brendan Rodgers has just continued to build on the Australian's good work.
Out of the last twelve meetings between the two teams, the Rangers have won just once. That is a stat that they cannot hide from.
