Celtic fans takeover Norwich City's Adam Idah posts on Instagram

As Celtic headed to Washington for preseason friendlies in the United States against Manchester City, DC United and Chelsea, there was a visible step up in the transfer activity. Social media was playing a part in giving rise to rumours and speculation but also in sharing information and news. Now it’s taken on a new role with club's fans doing their best to hurry up a move.
Firstly, let's talk about the transfer activity. There’s a long way to go yet in this window but the signing of Viljami Sinisalo from Aston Villa on a five-year deal looks to be an exciting one. Fans had been sharing the news of the transfer early on by posting a picture of the player in a Celtic training kit.
That was lighting up social media well before the club made the official announcement late on Tuesday evening. Since then, a second signing has been confirmed as well, with Kasper Schmeichel arriving.
Social media comments and discussion have set expectations that an announcement will follow on quickly for at least one more signings. Paulo Bernardo's return does not seem far away with a transfer fee reportedly agreed with Benfica. And the hope is that the club are able to sign Adam Idah on a permanent basis as well.

With the Hoops short on forwards, signing Idah would be a great move. From the look of his personal Instagram he seems to have enjoyed his time in Glasgow. Although he is back with Norwich City, his profile picture still shows him in a Celtic kit.
Some Celtic fans noticed Idah posting a picture on Instagram from an aeroplane and assumed he was Glasgow bound. In reality, he was travelling to Belgium with Norwich City. He has since been seen in the club's social media pictures showing him in training. The striker then played in a pre-season friendly against Club Brugge, which the Canaries lost 3-0.
Celtic fans have pretty much taken over Norwich City's posts in recent days, leaving comments calling for a move for Idah to Glasgow. Of course, the Hoops will need to agree a deal with the Canaries if they want to sign the striker. The supporters clearly want to make sure that happens sooner rather than later.
