Celtic will be heading into the Borussia Dortmund game having won all nine of their matches so far this season. The latest on that list was a 6-0 win away in Perth against St Johnstone, which saw Kyogo score a brace while Paulo Bernardo, Callum McGregor, Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah also found the back of the net.

It was not all sunshine and rainbows for Celtic coming out of the St Johnstone game though. One concern was the situation of Greg Taylor, after he was subbed off at half-time.

Celtic already have one major fitness headache before the Borussia Dortmund game, as Cameron Carter-Vickers is dealing with a toe injury and has not featured in recent matches. It is unclear whether he will be fit enough to make the team this midweek.

The club cannot afford to be without Taylor as well when they take on Borussia Dortmund. Brendan Rodgers has given an update on his situation.

As it turns out, Taylor felt a tightness and the change was precautionary. The hope is that he will be fine for the game against Borussia Dortmund. As reported by 67 Hail Hail, Rodgers said:

"Greg just felt a tightness in his calf in the first 15 minutes. So it just precautionary, we take him off and put Alex Valle in. We hope that he should be fine."

Taylor is finally starting to get the credit that he deserves. He has been excellent going back to the time of Ange Postecoglou as manager of the club. Admittedly, he took some time to adjust to the change in style after the arrival of Rodgers but now, he is performing at a high level.

Taylor is the best left-back that Celtic have without a doubt. And if he does end up missing this upcoming game, it will be the toughest test of Alex Valle's career for sure. One has to wonder whether Rodgers would prefer experience and play Anthony Ralston instead.
