Borussia Dortmund manager offers special praise to one Celtic player
Celtic players will need to rise to the occasion if they are to get a positive result away at Signal Iduna Park. It is one of the toughest away trips to make in Europe, and that too to take on last season's Champions League finalists, Borussia Dortmund. Brendan Rodgers' side have won nine games on the trot to start off the campaign. Making it ten is going to be a Herculean task.
That being said, there are weaknesses in this Borussia Dortmund team. They conceded five against VfB Stuttgart about a week ago. At the weekend, they allowed VfL Bochum to go 2-0 up before mounting a comeback and winning 4-2.
So, Celtic need to find a way to make the most of their shaky defence. And one player who might be their trump card on the day is Kyogo Furuhashi.
Kyogo's movement in the box is world-class. If he can get his finishing on point on the night, the Japanese striker might find joy against Borussia Dortmund. And it looks like he also has admirers in the opposition camp.

Borussia Dortmund manager, Nuri Sahin, seems to be a big fan of Kyogo. As reported by BBC, he said:
"If you really want a name, I'm a big, big fan of your striker.
"Furuhashi is not a typical striker like we are used to, a big one. But he is very smart and I really like how he moves off the ball, the timing of his runs. I see a very smart guy there tactically."
Kyogo' first season under the management of Rodgers was not the best. But this time around, he is starting to rediscover the kind of form that saw him net 34 goals in the 22/23 campaign.
He has scored 4 goals and provided a couple of assists this season already. That includes strikes against the Rangers and Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League opener. Kyogo also scored a brace at the weekend against St Johnstone. Also, do not overlook his performances in pre-season when he netted against Manchester City and Chelsea.
