Celtic have been in fantastic form this season, winning all nine of their games so far. They have not even conceded a single goal in the Premiership, keeping six straight clean sheets in the process. But their winning streak is gonna face its toughest challenge yet, and by far, when they travel to Signal Iduna Park to take on Borussia Dortmund.

The Bundesliga giants have not made the greatest start to the season. But one cannot forget their quality. They made it to the Champions League final in the previous campaign against all odds and expectations.

When Celtic take to the pitch to face Borussia Dortmund this week, they will be the underdogs. Even the biggest Hoops fans will agree with that.

But not Nuri Sahin. The Borussia Dortmund manager seems to hold the Hoops in very high regard ahead of their meeting in the Champions League at Signal Iduna Park. As reported by 67 Hail Hail, he said in a press conference when questioned regarding Celtic's underdog status:

"You’re talking about a team who haven’t lost for many games and haven’t even lost a goal in their league. They were very dominant in their first match in the Champions League.

“What can you say about Celtic? They are a very prestigious club with amazing talent in their squad and a fantastic coach. It will be a challenge for us, but at the same time a big challenge, a huge challenge, which they didn’t have this season, playing in our stadium.

“I’m really looking forward to it. I don’t think it’s fair to call them underdogs, to be honest."

Celtic fans will certainly appreciate those comments from the Borussia Dortmund manager. But at the same time, there is no point dwelling on them.

It does not matter whether the hosts view Celtic as underdogs or not. That does not change the aim of this trip, which is to get a result away in Germany. The Hoops drew 2-2 against Atletico Madrid in the competition last season. So, it is not an impossible task by any means.

Of course, their task has been made much tougher by the unavailability of Cameron Carter-Vickers. Auston Trusty is expected to take his place in the team.

Borussia Dortmund's weakness is believed to be their defence. Let's see if Celtic's high-flying forward line can find the back of the net away in Germany.
