What an entertaining watch it was, seeing the Rangers try to find their new manager. Well, it looks like it is coming to an end. Of course, with the amount of last-minute twists there have been in this saga, it would be a surprise if there was another U-turn at some point. But for now, it looks like the Ibrox club have found their man and it is news that Celtic fans will love.

Of course, Celtic fans know very well from their own Ange Postecoglou era that no manager should ever be counted out. That being said, it is very clear that the Rangers are getting a manager that the majority of their fans did not want.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Danny Rohl has just arrived in Glasgow. He is here to sign his contract as the new Rangers manager.

Not too long ago, Rohl had turned down the Rangers job as well. But it looks like those talks were resurrected after Kevin Muscat rejected the chance as well. Steven Gerrard had already pulled his out name of contention. So, with options running out, the Ibrox side chose to return for the German manager.

Admittedly, Rohl exceeded all expectations during his time at Sheffield Wednesday and seems to be a decent manager. That being said, being a good manager and succeeding at a club like Rangers is a very different thing.

The likes of Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Mick Beale, Philippe Clement and Russell Martin had their qualities as well, but could find success at Ibrox. And Rohl does not have the experience to deal with this kind of pressure either.

So, this would be a risky appointment on the part of the Rangers, if they are able to pull it off at all. For Celtic, there are bigger things to worry about than who the next Ibrox boss will or won't be.

They lost 2-0 at the hands of Dundee FC at the weekend in another toothless display. The result means that Hearts are now five points ahead in the title race and Derek McInnes' side will now start to believe that they can pull off a miracle.
