Celtic need to sign Julian Araujo permanently, with it becoming clear the full-back has developed a love for the club.
During Celtic's win against Rangers in the Scottish Cup, Araujo impressed yet again and was darting up and down the right wing, providing a threat to the Gers in the same way Alistair Johnston does.
Although he was caught out by forward Mikey Moore last weekend, that wasn't the case this time around, and the defender well and truly kept him at bay. He had him in his pocket for 120 minutes.
When the winning penalty went in, he made a run for Free Broomloan, celebrating with the ecstatic supporters. Solid and composed on the pitch, but showing he's a total maniac off it.
The scenes at full-time
If there's one player who has fully bought into the club since arriving, it's Araujo. At this point, Celtic would be silly not to attempt a move for him.
It was reported last month that the defender hasn't ruled out a permanent move to the club, and every week, it seems more and more likely. He was spotted partying at Wunderbar in Glasgow after the game, enjoying the celebrations even after the team had left Ibrox.
But even before Celtic departed enemy territory, they turned it into their own, with Araujo walking down the tunnel and pulling at the Celtic badge, to the anger of Gers fans who were watching on and shouting abuse at the Mexican. It was up to Joel Mvuka, who finally returned to the squad, and his other teammates to push him down the tunnel, making sure he got home in one piece.
Bring the Bhoy home
Araujo going back to Bournemouth would be a horrifying sight to Celtic supporters. Having played ten games already, recording a solid match rating in each of them, it seems impossible for him to leave.
But this is football. Anything can happen. Even if a player loves everything about a club, they can still leave. Take Jota and Kyogo, for example. Both were adored by fans, but they decided to go on their own paths. Although Jota has returned now, Kyogo is still at Birmingham, and Araujo could be the next Celt to follow in their footsteps.
We got a few seasons out of Kyogo and Jota though, so hopefully, we can have the same with Araujo. He hasn't even seen the full extent of things yet, as when the Green Brigade are allowed back in the stadium once again, he'll see what a proper atmosphere at Celtic Park really looks like.
