Wilfried Nancy has shown his hand. The Frenchman is clearly not going to move away from his methods. And to be fair, that is what brought him to the dance in the first place. Questions need to be asked of the board that decided to make the appointment despite knowing that the right personnel was not present at Celtic for the manager to implement his system of choice.
Even then, fans had been hoping that Nancy would show some kind of pragmatism after losing his first three games convincingly. Unfortunately, nothing of that sort has happened.
Once again, Nancy is sticking with his system. Even more remarkably, he has picked only one centre-back this time around.
Figuring out the formation has become a chore these days. One would imagine that Auston Trusty will be at the centre of the back three with Kieran Tierney and Anthony Ralston on either side. Who are the wingbacks? Your guess is as good as ours.

Another added: "The fact we don’t know who’s playing where says enough."
Unsurprisingly, he is not the only one confused by the selection as another Celtic fan said: "I know it's number order but I’d not be surprised if that was the position everyone was actually playing."
To be very honest, we are not convinced that Celtic will be able to turn it around this time either. They have lost three on the trot and it would not come as any surprise if that becomes four today.
Nancy seems like a manager who is completely out of his depth at the moment. And even more worryingly, it appears that he is not aware of the magnitude of the job that has been handed to him.
Let's just hope that this is the beginning of a turnaround. But unfortunately, the brain suggests that this will be a continuation of the slide.
