Celtic are just two games away from the Champions League league phase, facing Austrian champions LASK in the play-off round.
The Bhoys have enjoyed an electric start to the season, winning all of their first three games, most recently thrashing Dundee United 4-0 in the Premier Sports Cup. Martin O'Neill's men look particularly dangerous going forward, and while they have given up some chances at the other end, they have only conceded once so far.
The Champions League qualifiers will be another task altogether, naturally involving a lengthy trip, and the Bhoys will be required to make that trip, and indeed to hold their nerve, in the second leg, which will make things more difficult.
The Hoops stumbled at this stage last season, but that wasn't under Martin O'Neill, who arrived later in the campaign.
When is Celtic vs LASK?
Celtic vs LASK will take place on Wednesday, August 19. The first leg will be held at Celtic Park, Glasgow, with kick-off at 8pm local time. For reference, the second leg, which will take place at Raiffeisen Arena in Linz, Austria, will take place on Tuesday, August 25 at 9pm local time and 8pm in the UK.
How to watch Celtic vs LASK on TV
UK coverage of Celtic vs LASK will be shown on TNT Sports, and on TNT Sports 1 specifically, with coverage kicking off at 7.30pm. The same start time and channel will apply for the second leg a week later. Subscribers can also tune in through HBO Max, which is TNT's online streaming platform, allowing fans to watch on any device.
Whether Celtic end up in the Champions League or Europa League, TNT Sports will be the broadcaster for both competitions this season, so for those who don't subscribe, a subscription may already be worth considering, given the Hoops will be in one of those two competitions.
What O'Neill has said
Speaking about Celtic's clash with LASK, Hoops boss O'Neill has said: Â "There is a really big task ahead. LASK are a very fine side. They're very, very strong.
"It would be great if some of the lads who have come in now had a bit more practice with the team in that sense, but it is what it is. We have to be ready regardless.
"It is a big week for us. We've got the game on Wednesday and then the second match the following Tuesday. They are big games in every aspect. Champions League qualification matches, everything to go for. Prestige, finance, all that type of stuff. We're trying to be as ready as we possibly can."
