Earlier this summer, we saw Jeremie Frimpong make the move to Liverpool. In the process, he landed Celtic a substantial sell-on fee as well. It was in early 2021 that the Dutchman had left Parkhead to join Bayern Leverkusen, where he established himself as one of the most highly-rated full-backs or wing-backs in Europe. On the other hand, the Hoops' replacement for him is on the move as well.

In early 2021, it had become clear that Celtic's season was headed nowhere. They had made a mess of the chance to win 10IAR. That was one of the key reasons why the club agreed to part with Frimpong in the middle of the season. Jonjoe Kenny, then of Everton, was brought in on loan.

Kenny did not impress in Celtic colours. And at the end of the season, he was not signed on a permanent basis. Not many fans wanted it to happen either.

Since then, Kenny has developed as a player. After leaving Everton, he had a solid spell at Hertha BSC. Now, he has found his next club.

'Here we go' - Fabrizio Romano confirms Celtic flop's transfer to PAOK

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Kenny has said yes to PAOK. It is a done deal. There is an agreement between the club and the player. The journalist has given it his famous 'here we go'.

At one point, Kenny was even being linked with a return to Celtic on the back of his impressive performances for Hertha BSC. But that has not happened. Let's see how he does at PAOK.

Interestingly, he could end up reuniting with a former Celtic teammate at PAOK. The Greek club are believed to be on the front runners to sign Greg Taylor as a free agent this summer, with his contract expiring at Celtic.
