Celtic are coming off arguably their worst summer transfer window in club history. Some of the decisions that they made over the course of the past few months made absolutely no sense. The biggest of them was clearly parting ways with Adam Idah without bringing in a replacement, exactly what Brendan Rodgers had assured in the media they would not do.

Now, it remains to be seen where the Hoops go from here. They have looked nowhere near their best in the first few weeks of the season and the squad has only gotten weaker since then. Unless the new additions prove to be good ones, Celtic could be in trouble.

On the other hand, there is at least some news that will make Celtic fans happy even though it has nothing to do with the club. But it looks like we could see Ange Postecoglou back in a dugout soon.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Postecoglou is emerging as an option for both Bayer Leverkusen and Fenerbahce, looking for a new head coach. The former Spurs and Celtic manager discussed as name at both clubs ahead of the decision.

Postecoglou spent two very successful seasons managing Celtic. It was the club that gave him his big chance in Europe and he certainly took it with both hands.

Postecoglou would leave Celtic in the summer of 2023 to manage Spurs. And while it is a decision that a lot of fans were not happy with, one could understand it.

He would win silverware with Spurs as well, bringing them the Europa League. But at the same time, they had finished 17th in the Premier League and the club decided to part ways in the summer. Despite that, he will go down in Tottenham Hotspur history, having helped them win their first trophy since 2008.

It remains to be seen if he ends up at either Bayer Leverkusen or Fenerbahce. Both clubs have sacked high-profile managers recently, in Erik ten Hag and Jose Mourinho, respectively.

Postecoglou's brand of football could be a better fit in the Bundesliga than it was in the Premier League. So, if you ask us, the idea of seeing the Australian at Bayer Leverkusen is one that certainly would intrigue us. Their squad has been significantly weakened this summer with the departure of players like Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Piero Hincapie and more.

The Australian knows how to deliver under those circumstances, though. Celtic fans will know that well, having seen it first hand when he arrived in the summer of 2021.
