The summer transfer window is around the corner and things are already starting to pick up pace. We have already seen one former Celtic player move, with Jeremie Frimpong joining Liverpool. A few others are being linked with moves away as well. Alexandro Bernabei, Kyogo, Kris Ajer, Odsonne Edouard and Matt O'Riley could all be on the move soon.
On the other hand, it looks like Atletico Madrid have opened talks to sign a former Celtic player. And it is someone you would not expect to make a move this summer.
Andy Robertson has established himself as a legend since joining Liverpool. But the Reds closing in on a move for Milos Kerkez this summer, it looks like the Scottish international could be on the move as well, or is at least interested in one.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Robertson is keen on joining Atletico Madrid and initial talks have already started. The Spanish club consider him as their priority.

What many might not realise is that Robertson spent six years playing in the youth ranks for Celtic. But he left before ever making a senior appearance for the Hoops.
It is one of those 'what could've been' stories for Celtic. Robertson started his career at Queen's Park, had stints at Dundee United and Hull City before ending up at Liverpool. The rest is history. Will his journey take him to Atletico Madrid at 31 years of age? We will find out soon.
It does feel like the winds of change are blowing at Anfield. Trent Alexander-Arnold left this summer and it looks like Robertson leaving is a possibility as well. Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk have signed extensions but both are in the twilight of their careers.
