This summer transfer window is expected to be a busy period of time for Celtic, both in terms of incomings and outgoings. Valle has gotten consistent playing time in Cesc Fabregas' Como, who have exceeded expectations and are set to finish 10th in Serie A this season, right after earning promotion. Now, the FC Barcelona left-back appears to be on the verge of a permanent move.
Seeing his success in Italy, it is hard not to wonder whether he should have been handed more chances while he was at Celtic. The Hoops still need a backup left-back for Tierney next season, with Greg Taylor looking set to depart as a free agent.
