Celtic have already signed five players in the ongoing summer transfer window and it looks like there will be plenty more additions over the coming weeks and months. One position that is in immediate need of strengthening is the wing. That was already the case after Jota picked up a serious injury towards the end of the season, which might see him remain on the sidelines for the rest of the year. And now, Nicolas Kuhn is also closing in on a move to Como FC.
It remains to be seen how Celtic go about replacing Kuhn. It looks like they have an eye on a player who has already performed that task once in his career.
Yes, we are talking about Isak Jansson. He was the one who took Kuhn's place at Rapid Vienna after the German winger joined Celtic. Now, could he do the same job for the Hoops?
As reported by Anthony Joseph, Celtic have made an enquiry for Jansson. It is understood that Rapid Vienna would be looking for a fee in the region of £10 million for the winger.

Jansson is coming off an excellent season with Rapid Vienna. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 9 goals and provided 6 assists in 33 appearances.
Of course, initially, it had been suggested that Jansson could be available for a fee in the region of £3 million, the same figure it had taken them to sign Kuhn. But now, it appears that Rapid Vienna will want a significantly higher sum this time around. Hopefully, there is room for negotiation.
Other than Rapid Vienna, Jansson has also played a decent bit of football for Sweden at youth international levels. And at 23 years of age, one would imagine that he will get even better with time.
