Celtic have been pretty active in recent transfer windows even though there are question marks over the quality of their recruitment since the arrival of Brendan Rodgers as manager. For the most part, they have stuck to bringing in youngsters, with hopes of developing them into first-team players at Parkhead. A task they have often failed at lately.

Yet, that has not stopped them from trying and it has worked at times for sure. Arne Engels looks like a decent addition while Paulo Bernardo has stepped up his levels since joining on a permanent basis from Benfica in the summer.

Celtic could look to strengthen their options on the wings next, with the future of Luis Palma up in the air. And one of the players they have been linked with lately is Bazoumana Toure of Hammarby.

Toure has been excellent since joining Hammarby. According to stats from Transfermarkt, the 18-year-old has scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists in 20 appearances for the Swedish club so far.

Toure's excellent form has seen him being linked with clubs like Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Liverpool and more. But it is Crystal Palace who seem to be getting ready to move a step ahead of the competition.

As reported by Expressen (via TBR Football), Crystal Palace have been showing a keen interest in Toure since the end of July. The Eagles are ‘preparing an offer’ to sign him in the winter transfer window.

It remains to be seen whether Celtic end up making a move for Toure or not. There is no question about his potential. Just look at the clubs being linked with the youngster. But signing him would not be an easy task, and would come with the usual risks as well of bringing in unproven talent.
