Crystal Palace interested in signing Celtic superstar

Crystal Palace have already signed one Celtic superstar in the recent past. It was Odsonne Edouard who swapped Parkhead for Selhurst Park in the summer of 2021 and it is a move that did not work out for him. The Frenchman currently find himself on loan at Leicester City. On the other hand, it looks like the Eagles have set their sights on another of the Glasgow giants' best players.

Celtic are enjoying a great season at the moment. They are top of the Premiership, nine points ahead of the Rangers. They are in the final of the League Cup, where they will take on Philippe Clement's side. And in recently, they earned arguably their best result in Europe over the past decade, defeating RB Leipzig 3-1 at home.

Every Celtic player deserves credit for their performance in the win against RB Leipzig. But it was Nicolas Kuhn who was the clear star of the show on the night.

Kuhn scored a fantastic curling effort to draw Celtic level against RB Leipzig, after they had fallen behind to Christoph Baumgartner's goal. Then, the German winger put the Hoops ahead by being in the right place at the right time, after Daizen Maeda had failed to connect on a cross.

Of course, that sort of performance under the bright lights of the Champions League is bound to draw interest. And it looks like clubs down south have an eye on Kuhn already. It was just in January that he made the move to Celtic from Rapid Vienna.

As reported by Fichajes, Crystal Palace have already expressed their intention to sign Kuhn. The Eagles seem determined to lead the race for the winger.

It remains to be seen if Crystal Palace end up making a move for Kuhn. It will take a significant transfer fee to convince Celtic for sure.
