The Scottish Premiership season is now just days away from kicking off, and clubs around the country are racing to get new signings in before kicking off their campaigns.

The transfer window will continue for another month or so yet, but it's no secret that there is a real benefit to getting new signings in nice and early. Many Premiership sides have, but Celtic have struggled to get business done so far this summer, now racing the clock to get their squad in a more ready state.

Here we round up all the latest transfer news surrounding Celtic and their top flight rivals.

Celtic have not reached Hassan deal yet

Despite earlier reports, Celtic are yet to reach an agreement with Real Oviedo over the signing of winger Haissem Hassan.

Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph reported on X: "UPDATE: Celtic continue to work on a deal to sign Real Oviedo winger Haissem Hassan. It’s understood, as things stand, there's been no agreement reached yet between the clubs. Celtic are keen to bring the Egypt international to Glasgow after impressive displays at the World Cup."

Rangers boss teases new deals

Rangers boss Derek McInnes has teased more new arrivals as the Glasgow club continue their spending spree this summer.

"We are quite hopeful we've got one done at the minute and hopefully we'll have some news on that in the next 48 hours and we're also trying to maybe bring one more in if we can for Friday night," he said.

"I would really like that to be the case because I do think it one or two areas of the pitch we're still a bit short. One will be permanent, one might be a loan, but we would like two permanent."

Dundee complete deal ahead of Celtic

Dundee have confirmed a new arrival ahead of their league opener with Celtic a week on Monday night. Crystal Palace keeper Owen Goodman has completed a season-long loan move, making his way North.

Goodman spent last season out on loan with Huddersfield Town and Barnsley, and prior to that, he won the League 2 Golden Glove award after keeping the most clean sheets on the way to promotion via the playoffs with AFC Wimbledon.

He new heads to Dundee for the next stage of his development, where he will hope to be a regular starter between the sticks. It will be interesting to see if he starts on Monday against Celtic.
