Celtic are looking to strengthen all across the pitch this summer. As reported by the Daily Record, the Brownhill to Celtic transfer door has now opened a bit wider. Brendan Rodgers is said to still be keen on the midfielder but West Ham United are also interested in him.

Of course, this is in reference to Brownhill announcing that he has decided to leave Burnley this summer after five and a half years with the Championship club. He made the announcement on his Instagram, posting an emotional goodbye message to the supporters.
The free agency does come at the perfect time for Brownhill. He is 29 years of age and in the middle of his prime. That is showing on the pitch as well.
Brownhill scored 18 goals and provided 6 assists in the Championship last season. Phenomenal numbers for a midfielder. And he does have Premier League experience under his belt as well, having made 111 appearances in the English top flight.
