With growing transfer valuations all around Europe, it is always worth clubs keeping an eye out on free agents. Just look at Real Madrid. They have managed to sign players like Kylian Mbappe, Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba and many more when out of contract. They look set to do the same with Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer. So, there is no reason for Celtic to overlook that section of the market.

In the modern game, players are increasingly open to becoming free agents in order to facilitate moves. And Glasgow World recently listed strikers that Celtic and the Rangers could sign without having to pay a transfer fee this summer.

One of the names listed on their was that of Rhian Brewster. The former Liverpool youth standout is now 25 years old and he is out of contract at Sheffield United, open a potential window of opportunity for Celtic.

Sheffield United recently put out their retained list. In it, Brewster was put under the category of out of contract and in discussions.

Brewster has not been able to showcase his best in a Sheffield United jersey either. Last season, he scored four goals. But that being said, they clearly see something in him, and want to extend his stay as a result.

But perhaps it is time for a change of scenery for Brewster. A club like Celtic could be the perfect place for him, as it would open up the opportunity to score a ton of goals and boost his confidence.

While coming up through the youth ranks, it had looked like Brewster was going to be a top goalscorer but he has never really found his scoring boots at the senior level. He did manage 11 goals in 22 appearances while on loan with Swansea early in his career though.
