FC Barcelona have produced elite talents at an unbelievable rate, especially over the last few years. Lamine Yamal is expected to develop into one of the faces of football very soon and one could argue that he is already a world-class player. Their fans are hoping for him to be the successor to Lionel Messi. He is not the first one to have had such lofty expectations placed on his shoulders though. Things did not go according to expectations for the last one. Could a move to Celtic help him?

Celtic are no strangers to bringing careers back on track for elite youngsters who had struggled to make it at the senior level before a move to Parkhead. Jota and Nicolas Kuhn are a couple of names that come to mind immediately.

Could they work their magic with someone like Ansu Fati as well? Once upon a time, he was handed FC Barcelona's number 10 shirt after Messi left. Now, he would struggle to get even substitute appearances.

Fati spent last season on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion but it was not a grand success. And right now, he is not getting enough opportunities to remain at FC Barcelona. A loan move could help him.

Fati is an elite talent without a shadow of a doubt. His problem has been his constant injury problems, which have prevented him from getting on the pitch for any considerable length of time.

A loan move would not represent any risk for Celtic. It has already been suggested that they could be looking to sign a winger in January.

Luis Palma has barely played this season and seems to no longer be in Brendan Rodgers' plans. Why not bring in someone like Fati as a replacement?
