The summer transfer window is expected to be a busy one for Celtic. The Hoops have had a solid season and are still in contention for a treble. But their recent form has also shown the importance of strengthening and refreshing this squad, which is starting to feel a bit stagnant. It will be interesting to see which players leave after this campaign.

There are question marks around players like Daizen Maeda, Nicolas Kuhn, Reo Hatate, Cameron Carter-Vickers and a few others. All of them have been linked with moves away. One who looks almost certain to leave though is Luis Palma.

The Honduran winger is currently on loan at Olympiacos. The Greek side are believed to have a buyout clause in the deal as well.

As reported by Futbol Centroamerica, Olympiacos' €4 million option is Celtic's top priority for Palma. But if the deal doesn't materialise for that amount, they would be willing to lower their demands, with the aim of getting as close as possible to what was shelled out to sign him from Aris FC in 2023.

Palma is not believed to be a part of Brendan Rodgers' future plans at Celtic. The coach believes that Daizen Maeda and, above all, Jota, have the cover for that position.

Palma did well early on in his time at Celtic and looked like he was set to become an important player for the club. But gradually, his form faded away and he lost his place in the team.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for him at Olympiacos. Other than that, he has been a standout at international level for Honduras as well. So, one would imagine that there would not be a lack of interest in signing him.
