Celtic suffered a third straight Europa League defeat on Thursday night when they gave up a lead and were behind within three second half minutes.
After a tight first half Celtic took the lead within two minutes of the restart. Haissem Hassan beat his man down the right and his deflected cross found Mika Baur, who produced just enough power to find the net with a first-time strike.
But Celta found the equaliser in the 69th minute, when Javi Rodriguez prodded home an excellently delivered free-kick, and three minutes, they were in front when Rodriguez hammered home a strike from the edge of the box after Celtic failed to clear.
In truth, the two sides looked evenly matched for much of the game, but two moments of quality were enough for Celta in the second half, and Celtic are now left in a very tricky position in terms of qualifying for the knockout playoffs.
Here we rate the Celtic players from the defeat.
Sam Johnstone - 6
Nothing he could have done about the goals. No other issues.
Kieran Tierney - 7
Pretty sound. None of the issues came from the left.
Liam Scales - 7
Hit the bar with a fine headed effort around the hour-mark. Scales was solid for the most part, and Celtic were undone by a perfectly delivered free-kick, it must be said.
Dane Murray - 6
The same as the above, but it was Murray's man who slipped him for the first goal, so he loses a mark.
Colby Donovan - 6
Donovan had been having a good game until the hour mark, clearly defending narrowly in a bid to protect the box, but after the first goal, he started to get caught regularly and Celta had far too much joy down that side from there.
Callum McGregor - 6
Solid for most of the night but he is defending too deeply. When Celtic half clear, he is always trying to make up ground from deep. He should be in front of the defence, and within a step or two of whoever picks up that clearance. He is always too far awa, especially late in the game.
Mika Baur (Off at 79')- 7
A fine first-time finish to put Celtic ahead. Showed some nice range of passing through the game. But you could argue that McGregor issue also applies to Baur.
Benjamin Nygren - 6
Unlucky not to score with a decent near post effort in the 55th minute. Plenty busy and showed plenty of movement. Celtic couldn't find him between the lines often enough.
Haissem Hassan (Off at 72') - 8
Created the opener by beating his man at ease, and while the cross wasn't brilliant, it found its way to Baur in the middle, and the German made no mistake. Hassan was busy all night and produced several lung-busting runs to create opportunities. He was Celtic's best player.
Callum Osmand (Off at 57') - 6
Tried to win a first-half penalty and was perhaps a little unlucky but he should have done better to stay on his feet in a good position. Osmand was lively until he was forced off through injury early in the second half. He will regret going down so easily, though. That could have been a massive Celtic opportunity.
Camilo Durán (Off at 79') - 6
Duran showed plenty of endeavour, but he didn't have a major say on the game.
Substitutes
James Forrest (On at 57') - 6
Showed some endeavour but could't find any sort of space.
Kasper Hogh (On at 72') - 6
Wasn't able to get into the game due to Celta defending deep after scoring.
Oliver Sorensen (On at 79') - 5
Booked after a frustrated challenge. Didn't offer much in midfield.
Sebastian Tounekti (On at 79') - 6
The same as Hogh. There was very little space late on.
