It is going to be a busy few days for Celtic as we head towards the end of the winter transfer window. The fans are hoping that the club end up signing a few players and they are being linked with plenty of names. While it looks like Kieran Tierney is set to remain at Arsenal for the rest of the season, Tyrell Malacia of Manchester United has been suggested as a short-term fix. Mathias Kvistgaarden and Sondre Ørjasæter are believed to be potential targets as well.
On the other hand, there are those who could be headed for the Parkhead exit door. Luis Palma, for one, seems to be on the verge of completing his move away from Celtic.
Palma has been linked with plenty of teams in recent weeks as an exit always felt inevitable. But ultimately, it looks like he will be completing a move to Greece.
As reported by De La Rocha last night, Palma is undergoing his medical examination as scheduled. The tests are being carried out in London. He will then travel to Greece to be presented by his new club, Olympiacos.
Celtic player undergoing medical in London before exit
Palma already has played in Greece for Aris FC. As a result, it makes sense that Olympiacos wanted to sign him as there is not expected to be much of an adjustment period to the Greek league.
Early on during his time at Celtic, Palma showed a ton of potential but unfortunately, it has faded away with time. This season, he was barely being given chances and even the rare opportunities came as an impact substitute.
So, it is understandable why Palma wanted to leave the club. On the other hand, the Honduran winger's exit won't come as a major blow for Celtic, who have recently brought back Jota from Rennes.
