The Celtic squad has undergone quite a bit of change since the arrival of Brendan Rodgers last summer. Of course, Ange Postecoglou signings like Kyogo, Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Alistair Johnston and Liam Scales continue to start on a regular basis. But at the same time, there have been plenty who have left while fresh faces have arrived to take their place.

Questions have been raised about some of the signings Celtic have made over the last few transfer windows. One of the most highly-rated talents to arrive was Odin Thiago Holm, who was brought in last summer from Valerenga.

Holm was a standout at Valerenga and a regular fixture in the Norwegian youth international ranks. He was compared to Martin Odegaard back in his homeland. Naturally, Celtic fans were excited to see what he could bring to the table.

Unfortunately, we have seen very little of Holm in a Celtic shirt. He was getting some game time early on last season but slipped down the pecking order, especially after picking up a red card against Feyenoord despite having come on as a substitute just 10 minutes earlier.

Holm's Celtic career has never really recovered from that. And there has been plenty of talk about a possible exit in the near future, potentially even this winter.

Interestingly, Holm was missing from Celtic's 24/25 squad photo, raising further questions about his future in the green-and-white. The reason for his absence is unclear.

Earlier in this campaign, it had looked like Holm might get a second chance to succeed at Celtic. He appeared in the first three league games, albeit as a substitute. But since then, he has not even been making the matchday squad except for in the League Cup.
