Judging from some of Brendan Rodgers' recent comments, it looks like the Celtic squad is set to undergo a lot of changes in the upcoming summer transfer window. Fresh faces are expected to be brought in but at the same time, it looks like for quite a few players, even important ones, the cycle at Parkhead has come to an end.

It remains to be seen which players end up leaving this summer. Names like Nicolas Kuhn, Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda, Cameron Carter-Vickers and a few others have been linked with moves away from Glasgow.

One player who looks almost certain to leave is Luis Palma. He is currently out on loan at Olympiacos while also being linked with future moves to Dynamo Kyiv and the MLS. Where does he want to end up though?

As reported by Futbol Centroamerico, Palma's desire is to remain at the Port of Piraeus. He believes he can reach his peak performance under the management of José Luis Mendilibar there.

Palma joined Olympiacos in the winter transfer window, on a loan basis. The Greek club do have a buyout option included in the deal though. It remains to be seen if they end up taking it up.

It looks like Palma is hoping that they do. He is still finding his feet and has scored a goal and provided an assist so far, having started in five of the ten games he has played for Olympiacos so far. But a lot more is expected over the coming months.

Interestingly, there have been rumours that Celtic are intent on parting ways with Palma in the summer. If a permanent move to Greece does not end up materialising, then they will have a look at other options and are looking to recoup as much of the €4.1 million transfer fee they had shelled out to sign the Honduran winger from Aris FC as possible.

On the other hand, Celtic have been linked with quite a few wingers in recent months. Sondre Orjeseater of Sarpsborg 08 and Gustav Isaksen of Lazio are just two of them.
