Celtic have been given a major boost in the title race as Tuesday's post-split fixture announcements revealed that the Hoops will face Rangers and Hearts at home.

Now, we know how many tickets the Jambos are likely to be given, and it seems as though the Celts will have an even bigger home advantage than first thought.

Hearts are expected to receive an allocation of around 800 tickets. This comes as a result of away allocations being unnecessarily cut in recent years, started by the Tynecastle team in this case.

In 2021, they chose to reduce Celtic's allocation, and their fans loved it. Now, they're complaining on social media. Remember the saying - what goes around, comes around? That would be spot on.

Major boost for Celtic

This is a major boost for Celtic as it means the atmosphere should be incredible inside Parkhead.

On Tuesday, the club announced that the ban on the Green Brigade will be lifted, starting from this weekend's game against St Mirren. With the noise inside the ground having been dire for months now, we are finally seeing the end of it.

This is going to be an amazing end to the season. We have four home games where the ultras will be present, and it could have a massive impact on the team. Three points would be a brilliant way to pay back the support.

Celtic currently sit third in the Scottish Premiership table, three points off Hearts and two points off Rangers. The games against those two sides at Parkhead are going to be incredibly intense, and we can only hope that the fans won't have to watch either side get ahead in the title race should we sadly lose.

The boost from a title lift would be brilliant going into the summer. There is going to be a lot of work to do, and a full squad rebuild will be on the cards. Pair that with a new manager, and that makes the job even harder, but it's something that needs to be done.

With the ban on the Green Brigade being lifted, hopefully, fan media will be allowed through the door next. Fan media have supported the Celts through this difficult season, and now that a way forward has been found with the ultras, the unjustified ban on some journalists should be next.

Fingers crossed that we will be able to pair a ban lift with a trophy lift. We've had a tough time with the Hoops this season, but with us working our way back into the top spot, it could soon be ours to lose.
