Celtic's transfer window is now seemingly on a small pause before Tuesday night's Champions League qualifying second leg with LASK. After this game, the Bhoys will know whether they can rely on big prize and TV money, which could be key to some of the bigger possible signings.
The Hoops need a midfielder or two, along with a left-back and a goalkeeper, so they still have plenty to do, but they are not the only club. Other Scottish Premiership sides are racing the deadline, and here we round up the transfer latest from across the top flight.
Celtic's Sugur update
Celtic are said to be chasing Canadian international Niko Sigur this summer, with a defensive midfielder required. According to a report in Croatia, Toulouse have now made an offer for the midfielder, with Hajduk Split having set an asking price of between €3million and €4million.
Celtic are said to have offered €2.5million at this stage, but much will depend on whether Hajduk Split qualify for the Conference League on Thursday night, and they go into the second leg at 2-2. The report claims they will not make a decision until after the second leg.
Rangers close in on deal
Rangers are now closing in on their 12th summer signing in the form of Girona winger Kim-Min Su, who spent last season on loan with Andorra. The 20-year-old talent is set to arrive on a deal worth as much as €10million, which is a fee Rangers have agreed to pay upfront, according to The Athletic.
The Gers need a new striker after the Youssef Chermiti injury, but they have moved to strengthen out wide first, and with another pricey deal.
Hibs agree deal for US talent
Hibernian are now said to have agreed to sign Charleston Battery talent Colton Swan, according to The Herald.
The USA under-21s international is set to arrive once his international clearance and work permit is cleared up, which could take some time.
Hibs boss David Gray told club media: "We’re really pleased to have agreed a deal for Colton. He’s a talented young striker who is certainly one for the future, and we feel he has attributes that will suit Scottish football.
“He’s quick, direct and works incredibly hard for the team - and he’s got a real hunger to develop and improve his game. He’ll finish the season with Charleston, and then we look forward to welcoming him to Easter Road later this year.”
