Celtic are said to have been dealt an injury concern ahead of their Champions League qualifying second leg with LASK.

The Bhoys take on the Austrian champions in the second leg on Tuesday night, taking a 3-0 lead into the second game thanks to goals from Camilo Duran and Benjamin Nygren, with the former scoring a brace.

Celtic were deadly in front of goal, but LASK also created some dangerous opportunities, so Martin O'Neill knows full well that his side are going to need to put on a quality performance in the second leg to make sure of their league phase spot.

Scoring first could kill the tie as far as Celtic are concerned, but conversely, if LASK score first and get some wind in their sails, it can be easy for panic to set in for a team in possession of a diminishing lead.

Celtic handed injury blow

According to the Scottish Sun, Celtic have been dealt a fresh injury concern in the form of Auston Trusty. The centre-back is said to have missed Celtic's most recent training session, leading to concerns he will miss the second leg.

The Bhoys are already without Alistair Johnston for these games, with the right-back now set for at least a few weeks on the sideline. Meanwhile, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is suspended for both games, leaving the Hoops with just one natural defensive midfielder in a system that requires two.

As far as a possible Trusty absence is concerned, Celtic can call upon either of Liam Scales or Dane Murray, and it will likely be the former. Scales has played all of his football at left-back so far this season, deputising for Tierney.

So, Celtic do have cover and there won't be any major panic, but if Trusty is fit, he will almost certainly start alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers the middle of defence, as he has done for all-but one of the games this season.
