It is very easy to read the mood of the Celtic supporters at this moment. They have not been happy since the Champions League qualification campaign fell apart. And the situation was only made worse by what could go down as the worst summer transfer window in the Hoops' history, although the positive performances of Sebastian Tounekti and Kelechi Iheanacho might prevent that from happening.

All things considered, the supporters are not happy though. There were hopes that some questions would be answered when the board met with the Celtic Fans Collective on Monday, but we all know how that turned out. Interestingly, the club and the group ended up releasing conflicting reports about how things went at the meeting, further confusing the issue.

Amid these circumstances, perhaps seeing some club legends playing in the Celtic shirt again would help lift the mood a bit. That is exactly what is going to happen this weekend.

As reported on the club's official website, on October 12, Celtic FC Legends are set to face Feyenoord Legends at De Kuip. The two sides will be competing for the Wim Jansen Cup. The likes of Artur Boruc, Stiliyan Petrov, Scott Brown, Georgios Samaras and more will feature for the Hoops on the day.

Of course, it is always nice to see such legends back in action following their retirements. Of course, the cup is named after the manager who stopped Rangers from doing 10IAR.

So, he will always be held in high regard at the club. Interesting, it looks like the Rangers are looking to bring back a manager to stopped Celtic from their 10IAR.

It has been claimed that talks are set to be held with Steven Gerrard soon. It remains to be seen if he makes a return.
